Your Dog in concert – The Stooges Tribute

Liebe Mitglieder, wie ihr wisst, sind wir im Club eigentlich keine Fans von Coverbands. Aber es gibt immer mal wieder besondere Ausnahmen, die uns derart überzeugen, dass wir nicht umhin können, als solchen Musikprojekten einen stage-Platz auf unserer kleinen Holzbühne einzuräumen. Deshalb präsentieren wir euch am Samstag, 17. Februar (21.00 Uhr) das Projekt YOUR DOG des bekannten Meraner Gitarristen und Sängers Ramon de Lima im ost west club est ovest. Bei Your Dog handelt es sich um eine Coverband der großartigen Formation THE STOOGES rund um Frontsänger Iggy Pop. Verpasst also auf keinen Fall diesen Auftritt!

Your Dog sind eine fünfköpfige Tributeband der The Stooges aus Meran. The Stooges spielten und prägten den Begriff des sogenannten proto-punk und war eine US-amerikanische Rockband, die 1967 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, gegründet wurde. Die Band zählt zu den späteren Vertretern des Garage Rocks und Pionieren des Hard Rocks. Ihr aggressiver Stil beeinflusste stark den Punkrock und begründete Iggy Pops Ruf als Godfather of Punk.Die Musik der Stooges ist primitiv, laut und wild… Look out honey! 🙂

Car* soc*, come sapete, non siamo grandi fan delle cover band al club. Ma ci sono sempre eccezioni speciali che ci convincono a tal punto da non poter fare a meno di dare a questi progetti musicali un posto sul nostro piccolo palco di legno. Ecco perché sabato 17 febbraio (ore 21.00) presentiamo all‘ost west club est ovest il progetto YOUR DOG del noto chitarrista e cantante meranese Ramon de Lima. Gli Your Dog sono una cover band del grande gruppo THE STOOGES con il cantante Iggy Pop. Non perdetevi questo concerto!

Gli Your Dog sono una tribute band di cinque elementi degli Stooges proveniente da Merano. Gli Stooges hanno suonato e coniato il termine „proto-punk“ e sono stati un gruppo rock americano fondato nel 1967 ad Ann Arbor, Michigan. Il gruppo è uno dei più tardi rappresentanti del garage rock e pionieri dell’hard rock. Il loro stile aggressivo influenzò fortemente il punk rock e stabilì la reputazione di Iggy Pop come padrino del punk.La musica degli Stooges è primitiva, rumorosa e selvaggia…
